Supper Eagles Goalkeeper; Vincent Enyema Says No celebration in Super Eagles camp yet
The Super Eagles defeated Algeria 3-1 at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium on Saturday to maintain their leadership atop of Group B with six points - four points ahead of Cameroon.
“I do not think we have reached the mark where we can indulge in celebration as well as jubilation as far as the 2018 Fifa World Cup race is concerned,” Ezenwa told Supersport.
“The clash against Algeria has been won so the whole focus right now is the upcoming home clash against Cameroon next year.
“Of course, we know the football rivalry between the two sides. The encounter is certain to be tough, especially after Cameroon’s two draws against Algeria and Zambia.
“We know we have six points, four ahead of challengers Cameroon, but we will not start yet to celebrate qualification.
“Perhaps after we must have beaten Cameroon and win another match on the qualification calendar then we can comfortably commence celebration, but right now we are returning to the trenches to continue to work hard for the other matches.
“Nobody is losing his heads over the past achievements but focused on the remaining four matches.
“We want to qualify for the World Cup and will do the needful to ensure the lofty dream is achieved.”
